“Chocolate Bark”

This is, without a doubt, the easiest chocolate bark recipe you will ever find!

Keep a batch of these in your freezer and you’ll always have something on hand to cure any sweet induced cravings.

Chocolate Bark

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cocoa
  • ½ cup organic coconut oil
  • 1/3 cup honey/maple syrup/xylitol syrup/agave
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • A pinch of Himalayan salt
  • Optional: Dried fruit, coconut, nuts, chia seeds or fresh fruit

Instructions

  1. Line a baking tray with some clingfilm and spray with some cooking spray. Set aside.

  2. Gently, on a very low heat, melt the coconut oil, honey and vanilla essence together.

  3. Sift the cocoa into this mixture and stir until a thick and smooth mixture starts to form. Please do, however, make sure that you don’t bring this mixture to the boil.

  4. Pour the mixture onto the prepared tray, making sure that it has been spread across the tray evenly.

  5. Sprinkle the optional add in’s over the top of the mixture and put in the freezer for 45 minutes to 1 hour.

  6. Take the tray out of the freezer and break up into big/small pieces. Keep the chocolate in the freezer.
